The South African Wine Industry Trust (SAWIT) was established in 1999 to advance the transformation of the wine industry and promote South African wine and spirit exports.

SAWIT is no longer accepting new funding applications at this juncture due to a refinancing process underway and other commitments. The public will be notified once the refinance process has been completed and should funding become available again.

THANDI NDLOVU TAKES OVER AS CHAIRPERSON

Dr Thandi Ndlovu has been appointed the new chairperson of the South African Wine Industry Trust (SAWIT) where she succeeds Mr Gavin Pieterse. Mike Ratcliffe, managing director of the Warwick Wine Estate, is the new vice-chairperson.
